The Bungalow

Once a barn, this Bungalow represents the foundations of the original Foxfire project in which students independently navigated throughout their communities seeking to uncover past Appalachian lifestyles. In collecting interviews and reporting their findings, the students implemented the 10th Foxfire Core Practice. The 10th Core Practice states: “Reflection, an essential activity, takes place at key points throughout the work.”
